ROTO-prevzel-proizvodnjo-LAMINAPOL

ROTO took over the competing Macedonian company Laminapol in Skopje. Part of the production of water tanks and storage tanks will be kept in Macedonia, while the rest will be moved to Slovenia, where ROTO already successfully manufactures professional cleaning devices, oil and grease traps, pumping stations and water tanks.

The purchase of the factory in Skopje is of strategic importance for the expansion of business in Southern Europe, as ROTO already exports from its Macedonian factory to Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo and Israel. With the new products, ROTO will consolidate its leading position in the region and expand the range of products for ecology and construction, especially with underground rainwater collectors, drinking water storage tanks and water transport tanks.

Slaughterhouse cleaning plant

ROTO-cistilna-naprava-in-izlocevalec-mascob

Although we have installed many of our products in Europe, we are very proud that last month we installed a treatment plant and grease separator in Germany, which will be used for the biological treatment of wastewater generated in a poultry slaughterhouse.

The system of the treatment plant consists of two tanks, where the first is a trap or a grease separator with a volume of 5,000 L and a second tank representing the reactor of the treatment plant with a volume of 10,000 L. The entire system is capable of purifying 1 m3 of waste water per day.

The treatment plant was installed in an undemanding terrain with no groundwater and was ready for use within a day.

ROTO opens a development department in Germany

ROTO-nemcija-nov-razvojni-oddelek

In the coming months, the ROTO group is opening a branch in Germany, where we are establishing a development department for the VODA program, especially for the development of water treatment plants.

Our new colleague, Jens Uphoff, is also a recognized technical expert in the field of wastewater treatment in Europe using MBBR technology and an external associate of the renowned DIBT institute.

The new acquisition in Roto represents a great opportunity for the development of new products and specific solutions for cleaning water from tourist, industrial and agricultural facilities. The Pomur-based company ROTO was successful even during the pandemic, when it exported most of its sewage treatment plants to France, Sweden, England and Bulgaria. More on www.rotoECO.eu

McDonalds cleans water with Roto products

ROTO-RoSep-in-RoGre-McDonalds-Murska-Sobota

Fat-contaminated water from restaurants must not flow directly into nature.

It is recommended to separate the fats before entering the treatment plant. We also need to separate the oils that leak from cars in parking lots from the water before they flow into groundwater or streams. At Roto, we have developed oil traps and grease traps that are manufactured in accordance with the highest European ecological standards. We also supply them to restaurants of multinational companies such as McDonalds in many countries. We are currently installing a professional RoSep oil trap and a RoGre grease trap also in the McDrive Murska Sobota. More on oil traps
