Cable shafts
Purpose and use
Cable shafts are intended for electrical and telecommunication cable nodes. They are made as a monolithic product using Rotomoulding technology. They are suitable for installation in the ground and allow the connection of various types of protective and other pipes. The connection with the pipes is made with rubber seals. At the request of the client, we equip them with plastic covers.
Advantages of cable shafts
• Due to its low weight, the shaft is easy to transport and install
• easy addition (installation) of new pipes
• Covers can be plastic or cast iron
• There are notches on the shaft cylinder, so that it can be cut according to the height according to the needs of the terrain
• high tensile hardness
Installation and layout
• dig a pit at least 30 cm larger than the shaft
• the bottom of the pit is leveled with fine fraction / sand
• Install the shaft and cover the lower edge with earth
• Drill holes in the lower round part of the shaft
• insert the inlet seal for pipes and cables
• Cut the laid pipes straight and push them through the ring
• Finish the earthing roller on a special clamp on the outside of the shaft
• The shaft is filled in layers with hardening
• in the case of installing a shaft in the pavement, a concrete frame is inserted on the neck of the shaft, on which we place a cast iron frame with a cover
