A Successful IFAT 2026 for ROTO – World Premiere of the New Roterra2100

Four intensive and successful trade fair days lie behind the ROTO Group following IFAT 2026. From May 4 to 7, 2026, ROTO presented itself in Munich as an innovative partner for sustainable solutions in the fields of rainwater management and wastewater treatment.

At exhibition stand A3.211, the primary focus was on efficient and scalable systems for modern water management. Numerous trade visitors, partners, and prospective customers—both domestic and international—seized the opportunity to exchange views on current developments and new technologies.

A particular highlight of the trade fair was the world premiere of the new Roterra2100 series. Following the official presentation on the first day of the fair, this new generation of products was unveiled to the public for the first time.

The new Roterra2100 was developed for applications in the fields of rainwater, drinking water, and traffic-bearing solutions, offering maximum flexibility for private, municipal, and commercial projects. The series includes solutions such as Rodrink2100 and Rodrive2100.

Throughout the entire trade fair, ROTO experienced a strong influx of visitors and held numerous technical discussions regarding sustainable, cost-effective, and durable solutions for the water sector. Particular interest was shown in modular systems, ease of installation, and heavy-duty tank solutions.

The discussions held at the fair clearly confirmed the growing international demand for efficient and scalable solutions for sustainable water management.

Together with our colleagues from  ROTO ISEA and Ekoling d.o.o., ROTO enjoyed four successful days at the trade fair, establishing numerous new contacts and identifying promising project opportunities.

5 Years of ROTO DE – Opening of the New Offices and Showroom

On April 10, 2026, ROTO DE GmbH celebrated the opening of its new business premises and showroom—as well as the company’s fifth anniversary in Germany—with a special ceremonial event held in Esterwegen.

Under the motto “5 Years of ROTO DE,” the company welcomed over 40 invited partners, customers, and associates to its new facilities located at Südstraße 14 in Esterwegen. At the same time, ROTO DE GmbH looked back on 30 years of successful export operations involving polyethylene containers shipped to Germany.

As part of the event, the ROTO DE GmbH team presented current solutions in the fields of rainwater management and wastewater treatment, as well as innovative system solutions utilizing polyethylene tanks. Specialized presentations, workshops, and personal discussions offered guests the opportunity to engage in practical exchanges regarding new developments and future projects.

Among the guests of honor were Jörg Schmedes (Joint Municipality Mayor) and Ulrich Brake (Deputy Mayor), who conveyed their congratulations to the company on its anniversary and on the successful development of the site.

ROTO DE GmbH was also pleased to welcome Dr. Dirk Stenkamp (Chairman of the Executive Board, TÜV NORD Group, and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia). Ralf Hilmer (Managing Director, DWA-Nord) also attended the event, underscoring through his presence the importance of innovative solutions in water and environmental technology.

Nairobi, Kenya, June 2, 2025 – Today, we were honored by the visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mrs. Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, who visited our subsidiary Kewat as part of her state visit to Kenya.

The Slovenian family-owned company Roto presented its significant investment of 3.6 million euros in the factory in Naivasha, which is the first Slovenian investment of this kind in Kenya. The new ROTO factory for the production of fishing boats and tanks for clean and waste water, is focused on using mainly recycled polymers, which demonstrates the commitment of the ROTO Group to sustainable development and the transfer of advanced technologies to other continents.

President Dr. Pirc Musar was also accompanied on the visit by the Kenyan Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Deborah Mlongo Barasa, with whom they jointly welcomed the transfer of Slovenian knowledge and advanced technologies to Africa.

Over the past five years, our German company ROTO DE has developed significantly – the assembly and service department has undergone significant expansion, and sales have successfully increased. This is why we are moving to a new location in Esterwegen this week, just 20 km from the Dutch border.

The new hall measuring 1,000 m² and the outdoor area covering an additional 3,000 m² open up many possibilities for further development.
