Pumping shafts
Purpose and use
Pump shafts are containers made of nature-friendly polyethylene material [PE] and are intended for the installation of components that form pumping stations. They are an excellent solution for the composition of meteor and sewage pumps or other media. They are suitable for installation on walking and driving surfaces such as yards, sidewalks, parking lots and roads. The method of installation and the construction of the shaft make access to the pumping station easy and safe.
Advantages of pumping shafts
Installation of components and connection of the pumping station is easy and fast. Only technologically advanced and developed shaft shapes enable this.
The shaft is made according to the requirements of the project and the client; it is made in appropriate heights and shapes, with the possibility of making a complete pumping station with all the necessary equipment installed.
Assembly and installation
The pump shaft is made of polyethylene [PE] ro using rotomoulding technology and is available in diameters DN 800, DN 1000, DN 1200 and DN 1500 with the possibility of different heights from 1 m to 5 m.
The spherical bottom of the pumping shaft with a base enables the depletion of the entire amount of medium and easy underground installation with the possibility of installation next to high groundwater with anchoring. The body of the shaft is characterized by flat surfaces that allow connections of inlets and outlets in different places. The shaft cone with an opening with a diameter of DN 600 is suitable for the installation of a PE cover or the construction of an cast iron cover with a relief ring in the case of passability.
The shaft is manufactured in accordance with the standard SIST EN 13598-2: 2009, which determines the suitability of the shaft for impact resistance, circumferential stiffness, watertightness and load-bearing capacity of the shaft.
