A wastewater storage system with a capacity of 210 m³ was installed above ground at the waterworks in Ács! 💦 #Roterra tanks were used for the installation, which were placed on a concrete slab and surrounded by a 1.5 m high concrete wall. The innovative technical solution ensures the stability of the system on several levels: 🧱 the concrete wall holds the fill, 🌍 the fill stabilizes the gravel layer, 🔵 the gravel layer mechanically protects and anchors the tanks – which allows for safe installation even in areas with high groundwater. This proves that ROTO tanks are up to the most demanding projects, both at home and abroad. 🌍

According to the Regulation on the Discharge and Treatment of Municipal Wastewater, every facility that is not connected to the public sewerage system must replace the existing septic tank with a small municipal wastewater treatment plant (MČN) by the end of 2025 or connect to the sewerage system where possible. But many still don’t know: what is the difference between a septic tank and a MČN?☝️
