Project description
The primary school in Tinje, which is attended by about 100 children, was built in 1882 and renovated in 2010 as a prefabricated wooden structure. Before the renovation, the school had an old sewage treatment plant that was not working properly and had to be replaced with a new one. The existing sewage treatment plant was replaced by a ROTO RoClean 50.

A new sewage treatment plant and pumping station have been installed.
SBR technology
RoClean is a fully biological sewage treatment plant that works on the principle of the SBR method. And it offers high cleaning efficiency.
The phases of the SBR method are:
• Charging
• Ventilation
• Sedimentation
• The outflow of clean water
• Mud recycling
Scada
The oxygen sensor and telemetry system allow the system to be monitored remotely 24 hours a day and to operate at optimum performance at all times. Remote access via the internet and mobile devices allows various parameters to be adjusted if necessary.
Customer support
ROTO’s technical team ensures the ongoing servicing of its products. Biennial visits ensure that the treatment plant is working properly and that the water at the outfall remains treated to a high standard in accordance with the project documentation.
