At the heart of the system stands a robust polyethylene (PE) shaft, specifically engineered to meet the demands of underground installation as well as ongoing operation. The material is corrosion-resistant, durable, and capable of withstanding both mechanical stresses during installation and the continuous loads encountered during operation. Its compact design, featuring a nominal diameter (DN) of 600, enables space-saving integration while ensuring high performance.

Operation: When the wastewater level in the pump sump reaches a specific height, the pump is switched on. The switching on and off of the pump must be controlled by a level switch or a corresponding sensor. The size of the pump sump—as well as the level at which the pump is to be activated—is determined by the inflow volume, the pump’s capacity, or the maximum number of switching cycles per hour. The discharge line must be equipped with a check valve to prevent water from flowing back from the discharge line into the pump sump. A shut-off valve on the discharge line must be closed in the event of a pump failure.
