RoPump DN 800 – Domestic Pumping Station with Dual Pump System
The RoPump DN 800 is a high-performance domestic pumping station designed to convey wastewater from lower-lying areas up to the level of the sewer network, a wastewater treatment plant, or a septic tank.
It is deployed in any situation where drainage by gravity flow is not possible.

At the heart of the system stands a robust polyethylene (PE) shaft, specifically engineered to meet the demands of underground installation as well as continuous operation. The material is corrosion-resistant, durable, and capable of withstanding both the mechanical stresses of installation and the sustained loads of ongoing use. Its compact DN 800 design allows for space-saving integration while ensuring high performance.
Equipped with two submersible pumps, the DN 800 offers enhanced operational reliability and is particularly well-suited for applications involving higher inflow volumes or stringent requirements for system redundancy.

Operation: When the wastewater level in the pump sump reaches a specific height, the pump is switched on. The switching on and off of the pump must be controlled by a level switch or a corresponding sensor. The size of the pump sump—as well as the level at which the pump is to be activated—is determined by the inflow volume, the pump’s capacity, or the maximum number of switching cycles per hour. The discharge line must be equipped with a check valve to prevent water from flowing back from the discharge line into the pump sump. A shut-off valve on the discharge line must be closed in the event of a pump failure.
