Project description
The fire water system, which complies with DIN 14230, is designed to store clean water needed to extinguish complex buildings in the event of a fire. The fire water system consisted of eight tanks, with a total volume of 400 m3 of fire water.
ROTO sollution
The fire water system consisted of the installation of polyethylene (PE) tanks with a capacity of 50 000 L and dimensions 13490 x 2310 x 2380 mm.

Construction pit
The fire protection system required the excavation of a construction pit. The pit was 70 m x 8 m. No foundation slab was required due to the adequate bearing capacity of the ground and the very low water table.
Burial and connections
The factory assembly of the equipment and the individual tanks allows for quick connection and installation of the system. The fire protection system was installed and ready within a week.
Built-in equipment
– FI 600 ventilation openings
– Suction hoses DN 250 with anti-vortex plate made of
stainless steel
– Ventilation pipes DN 160 stainless steel
– PE connections for connections between fire tanks
