According to the Regulation on the Discharge and Treatment of Municipal Wastewater, every facility that is not connected to the public sewerage system must replace the existing septic tank with a small municipal wastewater treatment plant (MČN) by the end of 2025 or connect to the sewerage system where possible. But many still don’t know: what is the difference between a septic tank and a MČN?☝️

☑️A septic tank is just a collector – all wastewater is collected in one container and regularly removed. There is no cleaning, only storage. This means high emptying costs and environmental pollution.
