Roto is presenting 22 new products at the AGRA fair in Gornja Radgona. Among the many new products this year, we also present sinks made of recycled polyethylene in imitation of stone, sheet metal, concrete and wood. At the new ROTO factory in Puconci, we mass-produce 65,000 L tanks in Europe, which can be transported by standard trucks. The basic raw material is polyethylene, which is ground into a powder from granules. After the process of rotary casting in the machine, which is the largest in Europe, we make the shell of the tank. In the assembly department, we install connections, filters, pumps and other equipment, depending on the purpose of use. Reservoirs can be used as storage tanks for cysts, drinking or waste water, as treatment plants, oil or grease traps.
The new generation of RoTerra 2450 tanks, constructed by Pomurje engineers in the Roto development department, has a unique shape, as it resembles the fuselage of a passenger plane. The results of computer simulations in testing also showed excellent static properties, which are replaced mainly by concrete and metal tanks. Reservoirs have a lifespan of 50 years.
