SBR Process – how it works
Roclean SBR Sewage Treatment plants operate with SBR technology
All movement processes are performed by air lift pumps.
The air compressor which provides air to the aeration plate on the bottom of the tank are very durable and quiet, The distribution of air in the individual pump processes is realised via the control.
Wastewater treatment and a high efficiency of cleaning is achieved by treating wastewater in batches. The system operates 4 cycles per day and involves 6 stages
Each cycle consists of six stages
1. Wastewater enters first chamber and allowed to settle
2. Airlift transfers sewage from chamber 1 to chamber 2 (aeration chamber)
3. Aeration – air is circulated in chamber via membrane diffuser on base of tank
4. Sedimentation – Treated wastewater is separated from sludge – no aeration
5. Treated wastewater discharged from aeration chamber via sampling chamber
6. Activated sludge returned to chamber 1
Plug and play system
Installation is simply a plug and play system that suits the level of outflow waste water. The air pressure hoses and the corresponding connections to the system control are colour-coded. This avoids installation errors.
Low maintenance costs
The LCD display shows the operating hours of the individual devices. Any power failure is indicated with alarm. All components installed in such a way that they can be exchanged very easily.
The SBR wastewater treatment system can be adjusted to changing conditions by altering the cycle times. The system can also be switched to holiday mode.
SCADA Application – Optional Remote control of Sewage Treatment Plant
Scada system is an excellent solution for the monitoring and remote control of sewage Treatment Plants. It allows Remote control and access via internet, smart phones, Ipads and other mobile devices giving owners and operators complete control of the system. Roclean SBR+ 500-2000Pe Sewage Treatment Plant – MBBR technology or SBR+ employs thousands of polyethylene biofilm carriers operating in mixed motion within an aerated treatment basin. Each individual biocarrier increases productivity through providing protected surface area to support the growth of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria within the cells. It is this high density population of bacteria that achieves high rate biodegradiation within the system, while offering process reliability and ease of operation at the same time.
